Week Night Home Bible Study
As a compliment to the Sunday study groups on North Central's campus,
we offer a chapter-by-chapter Bible Study in the home of Tom and Berniece Reed on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to
8:30 PM.
This study offers participants the
opportunity to discuss the scriptures in a relaxed setting and obtain the benefit of each individual's insight and experience,
led by Tom, an elder in the church. Additionally we use the understanding of the text provided by a study guide written by
biblical scholars. Participants are welcome to read the background material and answer some of the questions in the study
guide prior to attending, but that is not required to be part of the discussion.
Another benefit of this study group is the opportunity to develop and grow
friendships with others from the church in a small group setting. Snacks before and after the study time help facilitate the
fellowship aspect.
At the conclusion
of each study time, we share prayer requests that Berniece then emails out to the attendees for use during the week.
Currently the group is studying the Gospel of Matthew
and using a study guide published by NavPress. Whether you're just starting on your spiritual journey or are far down
the road, you'll find something worthwhile in the study and feel welcomed by the participants.
For more information, call Tom or Berniece Reed at 830-980-3967.

Women’s Bible Study
Thursday is Women’s study day for North Central Christian
Church. Each week during the fall season women will gather for fellowship, spiritual growth,
and the opportunity to reach out together and make a difference around the church, the community, and the world.
The fall study topic will be an intriguing new book by author and biblical scholar, Carolyn Custis James.
The book, The Gospel of Ruth, is about courage, equality, and partnership in spreading the Gospel message
of love and hope to a world that is hungry to see. The study will begin on September 11, 2008 and continue
through the first Thursday of December, 2008. But you are welcome to come to any of the group gatherings
on any Thursday. New friends are always welcome!
